It seems like forever, even though it's been little more than 36 hours, but j2fi.net is finally back online after running into some issues with WordPress exploits and illegal background processes. The problem was completely my fault, as I had let a subdomain with an older version of WordPress sit idle for far too long. That said, I've managed to get several of my subdomains up and running quickly enough, including this site here ... all from the very same WordPress installation.
But I'll write more about that in the next few days.
I'd like to give a big thank you to Marc Bollinger at MidPhase who hopped on my complaints quickly, and to the rest of the people at MidPhase who isolated the issue and gave me enough time to pull all my data off the server before shutting down the compromised account.
So, on that note, there are still many sites that need to be restored, and several rather large databases that need to be sent back over.
