Sometimes I wonder if I was born a decade or two too early. This thought typically runs through my head when I read about a bunch of university students doing cool stuff that I was doing with my own time and money before these kids hit puberty. The Guardian recently posted a video report talking about 15 university teams taking part in a NATO-sponsored autonomous robotics competition to identify an underwater gateway. This is something some friends and I tried to do on our own with our own cash eight years ago without sponsorships or university resources.

Kids today have access to so much technology, and I am so jealous1.
